Breeding Perfect Pokémon
So you want to get the perfect Pokémon? You want to get the best possible stats and the best possible Nature, and you want your Pokémon to be as good as it possibly can. Well, if you follow these steps, you too can get your Pokémon absolutely perfect!
1: Choose the Pokémon You Want
The very first step is choosing the Pokémon we want to use. For this example, we'll be trying to breed a perfect Charmander with its Hidden Ability, Solar Power!
Charizard is a powerful Pokémon that relies on its Special Attack stat, so we will want a Charmander with a Nature that boosts that stat. Therefore, our final Charmander will have a Modest Nature (+Sp.Atk/-Atk) and the IVs to boost it further!
2: Get a Good Starting Point
Now that we've decided on our Pokémon, we need to choose who the first parents will be in this long chain of breeding. We want to take into account the Natures, Abilities, and IVs of the parents, so we need to choose wisely if we want to cut down on the time we spend!
Based on the potential parents above, we want to start with Ditto 2 and Charizard 3 to minimize the work.
Ditto 2 has the Nature we want and two perfect IVs (IVs with a value of 31) in stats we desire. Ditto 3 would work too, bit it only has one perfect IV.
Charizard 3 has the Ability we want and 3 perfect IVs compared to Charizard 2's 2 perfect IVs. In addition, one of Charizard 2's perfect IVs is in Attack, which we don't need if we want a Charizard that specializes in Special Attack.

Give the parent with the desired Nature the Everstone to guarantee that it gets passed down, and give the other parent the Destiny Knot to guarantee that 5 IVs from the two parents are passed down as well!
3: Chain Breeding
From here, we wait until we get a Charmander that is better than the Charizard parent that we started with in terms of perfect IVs. Note that this can take a while and is entirely based on luck: the Destiny Knot guarantees that 5 IVs are passed down, but doesn't guarantee that perfect IVs are the ones passed down. In fact, it is entirely possible to pass down no perfect IVs. Just be patient and you'll get a good Charmander eventually.
After a couple eggs, we should have a good candidate to start the chain breeding.

Charmander 4 and Charmander 5 has fewer perfect IVs than what we started with, so they won't help us get that perfect Pokémon we're aiming for. However, Charmander 6 has 4 perfect IVs, more than the original Charizard 3. This is a perfect candidate to continue the chain. Thus, we will replace Charizard 3.
But wait! Something's wrong here. For our final Charmander to be perfect, it needs 5 perfect IVs (it doesn't need good Attack IVs if it is a Special Attacker), and Charmander 6 has 4 perfect IVs, missing out on his Attack and Defense IVs. However, Ditto 2 does not have perfect Defense IVs, so there will never be a chance for a perfect Defense IV to get passed down. Relying on the game to hopefully generate a perfect Defense IV will make the process take too long, so we'll want to swap out Ditto as well. Fortunately, Ditto 1 from before has perfect Defense IVs.
Remember to give the parents the appropriate item! The one with the desired Nature holds the Everstone, and the other holds the Destiny Knot.
Continue doing this, replacing parents with Pokémon possessing better IVs.

4: After a Long Chain
After repeating Step 3 over and over, you will eventually get your perfect Pokémon. Since it is all based on luck, sometimes you'll get your perfect Pokémon within the first 3 tries, while other times it can take you over a day to get it. Keep at it and don't give up! You will get that perfect Pokémon eventually!
When you finally finish, you'll have a Pokémon like this beauty right here:
When you finally finish, you'll have a Pokémon like this beauty right here:
Charmander 31
Nature: Modest (+Sp.Atk/-Atk)
IVs: 31/(don't care)/31/31/31/31
Ability: Solar Power
Nature: Modest (+Sp.Atk/-Atk)
IVs: 31/(don't care)/31/31/31/31
Ability: Solar Power
Now simply EV Train it properly, evolve it and give it some good Special Attacks (like Flamethrower), and you're ready to take your perfect Charizard online! Enjoy!
